Explosion of 60-Ton Gas Truck in Mongolia's Capital
A fire broke out following the explosion of a 60-ton gas truck near the large "Dunjinggarav" market in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital. This was reported by a TASS correspondent.
The Emergency Situations Department has stated that firefighters, paramedics, and police are on site. Local residents reported that the fire quickly spread to nearby vehicles and adjacent residential buildings after the explosion.
Later, the TASS correspondent in Mongolia reported that the fire has been contained, but residents of nearby homes have been advised to evacuate to avoid inhaling harmful substances released by the burning truck.
