Former Governor of Aragatsotn, His Brother, and Their Wives Summoned by Illegal Asset Forfeiture Department

The former governor of Aragatsotn, Sargis Sahakyan, his wife, his brother, former MP Nairi Sahakyan, and Nairi's wife, Karine Avagyan, have been summoned to the Department of Illegal Asset Forfeiture of the Prosecutor General's Office. This was reported by Hetq.am.

It is noted that an investigation is being conducted regarding the assets owned by them, resulting in a summary document. At this stage, the prosecutor's office is not publishing the list of assets subject to forfeiture, citing that it could change based on the evidence and explanations provided.

Sargis Sahakyan, his wife Meline Genjoyan, his brother Nairi Sahakyan, and Nairi's wife Karine Avagyan are required to appear before the Department on January 22.
