France Appoints Foreign Minister Who is Partner of Prime Minister
Stefan Séjourné, the leader of France's presidential 'Renaissance' party, has been appointed as the new head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports BFMTV. He replaces Catherine Colonna, who had been at the helm of the ministry since May 2022.
Séjourné is the civil partner of the new Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal, who is openly gay and the youngest head of government in France's history.
