Iran's Defense Minister Warns the U.S.
Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, has warned the United States about the need to prepare for the consequences of the assassination of Hamas's deputy political bureau chief Saleh al-Arouri by Israel. This was reported by the country's media.
During a government meeting on Wednesday, the Iranian Defense Minister told reporters that the killing of the senior Hamas official would confuse the United States. He noted, "The U.S. has disrupted the regional balance, and the consequences of this assassination will fall on them."
Actions against resistance forces such as this will only strengthen regional solidarity against American policies, the Iranian minister stated, cautioning Washington that "its strategic mistakes will stir chaos in the region and have adverse impacts on U.S. plans."
It is worth mentioning that the senior Hamas official Saleh al-Arouri was killed on Tuesday by an Israeli drone strike in the southern Dahia suburb of Beirut.
