The decision of Japan to allow the transfer of US missiles for its Patriot missile defense systems will have negative consequences for global security. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing. The information was reported by TASS.

"This will have tangible negative consequences for global and regional security. It is evident that the decision serves primarily the interests of the American ally, Tokyo," said the diplomat. According to her, Russia has assessed the strike by Japanese missiles in the hands of the Ukrainian armed forces as a hostile action, which will have the most serious repercussions for relations with Tokyo.
