12-Year-Old Girl Dies on Tyumen-Adler Train; Nearly 30 Children Hospitalized
A 12-year-old girl has died on the Tyumen-Adler train. More than 30 children have been hospitalized at an infectious diseases hospital in the Saratov region.
According to reports from 112, a group of 125 children was returning from camp. During the journey, several exhibited symptoms of acute respiratory viral infection and experienced elevated temperatures. In the Penza region, 12-year-old Veronica Yu. fell seriously ill.
Two doctors and a nurse accompanying the group attempted to provide assistance, but tragically, the girl lost consciousness and passed away.
The Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office are currently examining the situation. Those who did not contract the virus continue their journey home.
