Explosion in Turkey: People Evacuated Urgently

An explosion occurred in a five-story residential building in Kars, a city in eastern Turkey (historically known as a city in Western Armenia), which resulted in a fire breaking out. Local media reports indicate that people have been urgently evacuated.

“Following the call about the explosion in the five-story building located in the Shehitler neighborhood in the center of Kars, groups of medical personnel, firefighters, police, and search and rescue services were dispatched to the scene,” the media reports.

It has been reported that the walls of an apartment on the third floor, where the explosion allegedly took place, have collapsed. There is currently no information about any injured individuals.
