Ukrainians Face Mortal Danger: Zelenska
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's wife, Olena, stated in an interview with the BBC that Ukrainians face mortal danger if the West does not continue its financial support. The First Lady of Ukraine made these remarks after Republican senators blocked a proposal to provide Kyiv with over $60 billion in aid.
“We need help. Frankly, we can't afford to get tired of this situation because if we get tired, we will die. And if the world gets tired, they will simply let us die. It is very painful for us to see signs that the desire to help may fade. This is a matter of life for us. So it is painful to witness this,” Zelenska said.
Earlier, UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron stated that military operations in Ukraine pose a threat not only to Europe but also to US security. US President Joe Biden has not ruled out the possibility that if Ukraine wins, Russian troops could invade any NATO country, asserting that if Putin takes Ukraine, he will not stop there.
