What Damages Did the Dilijan National Park Sustain After Days of Uncontrolled Fire
The fire that broke out in the 3rd compartment of the Dilijan National Park has been extinguished. This information was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The fire in the 3rd compartment of the Dilijan National Park was extinguished on December 6 at 11:20 AM. A total of 12 hectares were burned; rescuers carried out firefighting operations over an area of 10.5 hectares. Fifty standing trees were burned, along with 410 tree stumps, brushwood, wood debris, and 120 trees were scorched.
Twenty rescuers are currently on duty at the scene,” the statement said.
It should be noted that the fire in the Dilijan National Park had been raging for several days before it was finally extinguished.
