SATM Presents List of Prohibited Food Products for Import to Armenia
The State Service for Food Safety (SSFS) has announced that from November 24 to 28, due to laboratory non-compliance, the following hazardous food products have been banned from import into Armenia:
- Chicken meat from Brazil – 64,000 kg, positive for Listeria monocytogenes;
- Large cattle by-products – 22,509.01 kg, positive for Listeria monocytogenes;
- Pork – 50,976 kg, positive for Listeria monocytogenes;
- Iodized table salt from Iran – 1,325 kg, with iodine mass fraction.
