Israel Relocates Forces to Southern Gaza: AFP
Israel is expanding its ground operation and relocating its forces to the southern part of the Gaza Strip. This was reported by AFP, citing media sources.
The agency notes that Israeli Defense Forces' tanks, armored vehicles, and bulldozers have penetrated into an enclave in the Khan Younis area, reaching a highway that runs through the entire territory, connecting its northern and southern parts.
This indicates that military operations are ongoing not only in northern Gaza but also in the south. The Israel Defense Forces have urged Palestinians to move further south.
Additionally, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas radical movement, the “Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades,” has announced that it has launched rocket attacks on Tel Aviv, Israel's second-largest city by population.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces reported on their Telegram channel that sirens had sounded in the city of Ashkelon.
