Economy Ministry Engages in Talks to Prevent Armenian Trucks from Being Stuck at Lars
On December 1, 2023, at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy, an operational consultation took place on the platform of the Eurasian Economic Commission to discuss the situation at the Upper Lars customs checkpoint. As a result, starting from December 2, the Upper Lars customs checkpoint is open for all types of vehicles, including trucks transporting perishable agricultural products.
The Ministry of Economy of Armenia reports that currently, bilateral working consultations are underway among representatives of authorized state governing bodies in the phytosanitary sector to urgently resolve the issues that have arisen.
