“The international partners involved in the peace process must unequivocally condemn Azerbaijan's recent actions to evade negotiations and initiate new killings at the border, which disrupts the entire process surrounding peace.” This was stated by Special Envoy Edmon Marukyan on his microblog, referring to Azerbaijani aggression that resulted in one casualty on the Armenian side. “An Armenian soldier of the Armed Forces was fatally injured by a sniper from Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's perception of peace slightly differs from our understanding of the peace process,” the envoy wrote.
