Former Vice-Rector of Brusov University Released
The former vice-rector of Brusov State University, Tsolak Akopyan, has been released. This information was posted on the Facebook page of lawyer Arsen Babayan.
"The court applied administrative supervision as a measure of restraint against him," the lawyer wrote.
It is worth recalling that yesterday the Prosecutor's Office announced that criminal prosecution had been initiated against Akopyan for actions outside the scope of his authority. Between 2019 and 2022, he accepted remedial examinations from students who received insufficient grades in English and assigned them positive evaluations, signing in place of a commission member on the examination report.
