New Road Segment to Be Constructed to Reduce Traffic Congestion: Avinyan Details
A new road segment connecting Isaacov and Arshakunyats will be constructed in Yerevan to regulate significant traffic flows and reduce congestion. This was reported by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan on his Facebook page.
"It will connect three administrative districts of the capital, creating the opportunity to significantly shorten the current route," the mayor stated.
He announced that agreements on loans and project implementation have been signed between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, the Yerevan municipality, and the Asian Development Bank to implement the project.
"This is another important step aimed at the development of urban infrastructure, which we will carry out in collaboration with our international partners," the mayor added.
