VIDEO: Tensions Rise on Mashtots Avenue as Police Detain Protest Participants
The police detained 8 members of the 'Zang' movement who attempted to set up a tent on the transit area of Mashtots Avenue during an awareness-raising protest. This was reported by media outlets.
Prior to this, the police had halted the march near the transit area, demanding to know the direction in which the march would proceed. Other participants are returning from the march to Mashtots Park, where today’s gathering began.
