Emergency Situations Ministry: Stepanavan-Lars Road Update
The Stepanavan-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. The Armenia Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there is currently one closed road within the territory of Armenia.
The road leading from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Kari Lake is closed.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Lars road remains open for all types of vehicles.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires. Earlier reports indicated that the Stepanavan-Lars road was closed for trucks.
