One year ago, Vruyr Barseghyan, the suspect in the brutal murder of 31-year-old Zarine Meliksetyan and her two minor children, attempted to commit suicide. This information has been reported by Mediahub.am, citing its sources.

It is mentioned that his suicide attempt was unsuccessful. "He had a cutting tool in his possession, which is also noted in his indictment. However, there is nothing in the criminal case specifically regarding the attempted suicide," said Barseghyan's public defender Eduard Aghajanyan in an interview with the media outlet, while not confirming the information about the suicide attempt.
