Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened the first extraordinary meeting of the government on Sunday, where he announced that the Palestinian Hamas movement will be annihilated. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The meeting began with a moment of silence in memory of Israelis and soldiers who lost their lives during the escalation, as well as those who died in battles with Palestinians.

It should be noted that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Defense Forces reported that extremists launched more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of terrorists infiltrated border areas in southern Israel.
