Russia Strikes Militants' Military Targets in Syria
Russian Aerospace Forces have targeted military installations of militants in Syria. This was announced by Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Arab Republic, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As a result of the Russian offensive, ten militants were eliminated, along with a mobile multiple launch rocket system and five militant drones. The Russian Armed Forces also destroyed two checkpoints and two underground shelters of illegal armed groups, as well as five weapon depots.
Radical formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone have been carrying out constant attacks on areas under the control of the Syrian government using drones and modified multiple rocket systems. In the last 24 hours, eight attacks on government positions have been recorded in this zone.
Kulit noted that to suppress such attempts, precision strikes have been delivered by Russian Aerospace Forces on militant targets.
