Russian Ministry of Defense Issues Statement
The Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out missions in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Ongoing cooperation with Baku is maintained, aimed at preventing bloodshed, ensuring security, and upholding humanitarian law for the civilian population. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
It is known that since September 19, 2023, eight observation posts and 15 temporary observation posts of Russian peacekeepers have been closed in the Askeran, Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi districts.
Efforts involving Russian peacekeepers are ongoing to restore the supply of electricity and gas to populated areas in Nagorno-Karabakh.
