Armenia Does Not Always Act as a Partner, Says Lukashenko
Armenia does not always behave as a partner towards the CIS countries. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at the Cooperation Summit in Bishkek.
According to him, it is necessary to assess the situation in the CIS more critically and not to bury heads in the sand. “To this day, the West continues to try to undermine, weaken, and subordinate us to its interests. First, Georgia exited our association, de facto Ukraine is not with us. There are major questions regarding Moldova. Unfortunately, Armenia does not always behave like a partner,” said the leader.
He emphasized that this cannot be watched from the sidelines, “otherwise we will simply be torn apart.”
“We see that all the old conflicts that were once thrown at us inevitably emerge with very sad consequences. Thank God that not only a trend has been observed in the direction of solving these conflicts, but some of them have been successfully overcome,” Lukashenko added.
