We Have Not Seen the Escalation of Conflicts in the Middle East: Putin
We have not seen the escalation of conflicts in the Middle East. This statement was made by the leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
The President of the Russian Federation emphasized the need to avoid harsh statements and to refrain from offending the emotions of those involved in the conflicts in the Middle East during an interview with Al Ghad television.
According to him, the Palestinian-Israeli issue is extremely complex and sensitive. Putin added that when resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, one should engage not with military means but rather seek diplomatic solutions and ways to return to negotiations.
“Russia can contribute to resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, but currently, the tensions are such that this does not seem possible,” noted the Russian leader.
