Prime Minister's Office on Those Wanting to Move from Artsakh to Armenia
The representatives of the Armenian government are in constant contact with their partners in Artsakh regarding the humanitarian issues established in the region, including the relocation of those wishing to move to the Republic of Armenia. This was stated by the Prime Minister's Office in response to a question from Armenpress.
Depending on the situation and the results of discussions among the representatives of Artsakh, Azerbaijan, and peacekeepers, necessary decisions will be made in conjunction with Artsakh.
The Armenian government has not set the issue of the displacement of the Armenian population in Artsakh as a priority and believes that the rights of the Armenians in Artsakh to live safely and with dignity in their homes must be guaranteed. However, if it is assessed that the presence of Armenians in Artsakh or part of them is impossible, necessary decisions will be made.
Preparatory work for such a scenario is underway, and various scenarios have been developed.
