EU Countries May Not Seize Russian Tourists' Personal Belongings
EU countries may not seize the personal belongings of Russian tourists entering the Union, such as clothing. This was stated by the European Commission. Additionally, they clarified that the provisions regarding sanctions on Russians' personal belongings and vehicles are merely proposals. The final decision is made by the EU member states.
It is worth noting that it was revealed yesterday that Russian citizens are not allowed to enter EU countries with their own vehicles, smartphones, and cosmetics. These items may be seized at the border.
