Pashinyan Expresses Willingness for Urgent Discussions with Aliyev

Issues related to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor, the buildup of Azerbaijani troops around Nagorno-Karabakh, and the rising tensions along the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border were discussed.
Prime Minister Pashinyan reaffirmed his commitment to the agreements made on October 6, 2022, in Prague, and May 14, 2023, in Brussels, emphasizing an approach to resolve all issues exclusively through diplomatic means and in a constructive atmosphere.
President Macron highlighted that reducing tensions along the borders is necessary. Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed his willingness to engage in urgent discussions aimed at de-escalating tensions with the President of Azerbaijan.
President Macron also expressed his readiness to support efforts to establish peace and stability in the region.
