Man Snatches Knife from 17-Year-Old in Artashat and Stabs Him in the Abdomen

A dispute in Artashat ended with a stabbing incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports this via its press service.

“On August 21 at 8:00 PM, the ambulance service informed the police department of Artashat about a stabbing that occurred on one of the addresses on Orbelyan Street in Artashat,” the police stated.

Thanks to operational investigative measures, it was determined that around 8:00 PM, during a conflict at the intersection of Nersisyan and Orbelyan streets in Artashat, a 17-year-old boy stabbed a 42-year-old man on the hand, who then snatched the knife and stabbed the teenager in the abdomen.

According to medical documentation, the teenager sustained a penetrating stab wound. Due to the explanatory work of the Artashat police, the 42-year-old man presented himself to the department. He has been arrested and transferred to the Ararat Regional Investigative Department.
