Alexei Navalny Sentenced to Additional 19 Years in Prison
The Moscow City Court has sentenced Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny to 19 years in prison for creating an "extremist organization." He will serve his sentence in a high-security penal colony, according to reports from BBC.
The trial took place in a strict regime colony in the Vladimir region, where Navalny is already serving a nine-year sentence for fraud.
