40,000 Tons of Wheat Destroyed Due to Russian Attack, Says Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister
“This morning, as a result of the Russian drone attack, 40,000 tons of grain have been destroyed,” Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov wrote on his Twitter account, sharing photographs.
According to the official, the destroyed wheat was intended for export to several African countries, as well as to Israel and China.
According to Reuters, the price of grain in the international market rose by about five percent following the attack.
