VIDEO: Has Israel Offered to Supply Drones to Armenia? Tonoyan Responds
No state-level proposal has been made by Israel to build or sell a drone factory in Armenia. This was stated by former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan during a session of the National Assembly's Inquiry Committee investigating the consequences of the 44-day war.
“Efforts have been made regarding certain private agreements, but keep in mind that that country had significant contracts with our adversary and faced certain restrictions,” Tonoyan said.
The committee chair, Andranik Kocharyan, added, “All non-state level talks with Israel usually turn out to be empty.”
