There are concrete results in some areas, and in others, there are prospects for reaching an agreement, said Ararat Mirzoyan regarding the peace treaty during a trilateral meeting in Moscow. The Armenian Foreign Minister noted that there are issues in the peace treaty with Azerbaijan where the positions of the parties are very far apart.

“We are constructive. Unfortunately, the situation on the ground, particularly the closure of the Lachin corridor and the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh, complicates the negotiations. The situation is close to a real humanitarian disaster — no food, no medicine, gas supply has been halted,” he stated.

The humanitarian disaster will have negative consequences for the negotiation process.
