Two Teenagers Threaten Foreign Courier and Refuse to Pay After Delivery
A 24-year-old foreign national residing in Yerevan, who provides delivery services on a moped, was threatened with a knife by two young individuals after delivering an order to the fifth floor of a building on Minsk Street on July 24. Following the delivery, they refused to pay the delivery fee. This incident was reported to the community police of the Nor Nork division on July 29.
It was noted that a report was accepted from the 24-year-old. A criminal case has been initiated. Through measures undertaken by the community police of Nor Nork, it was revealed that the act was committed by two teenagers aged 16 and 14. Subsequent actions uncovered that these individuals, along with three other peers, had committed similar crimes against foreign delivery service personnel.
Thanks to the joint efforts of criminal investigators and community police, it was established that five teenagers arrested on charges of robbery attempted to openly steal a foreign delivery worker's bag near a building on Minsk Street on July 26. The teenagers and the documentation have been submitted to the pre-trial body.
