Proposal to Start Impeachment Process Against Biden in the U.S.

The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, has proposed initiating impeachment proceedings against current President Joe Biden, aimed at investigating corruption-related allegations involving him and his son, Hunter, as reported by The Washington Post.

“We need to get to the bottom of the truth, and the only way for Congress to do that is to begin impeachment proceedings, which will allow both Republicans and Democrats to obtain all the information,” he stated.

Earlier, Politico reported that McCarthy promised to support former President Donald Trump in his efforts to overturn his own impeachment, as a gesture of support for his candidacy in the elections. McCarthy has denied this.

To this day, he has not endorsed any of the Republican candidates for the presidential position.
