Artsakh President to Hold Sit-in and Hunger Strike, Claims We Are Being Forced to 'Eyelid' Statements: Abrahamyan
The ruling Civil Contract representative states that "we recognize and declare the rights and principles of the 120,000-strong Armenian community existing within Azerbaijan's borders." This was reported by Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the parliamentary faction "I Have Honor."
"Now, in this case, the President of Artsakh will hold a sit-in, go on a hunger strike, or organize protests in front of various embassies; regardless, our international partners will continually refer to similar statements from the Pashinyan regime, forcing us to 'eyelid' them. The approach of recognizing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, envisioning Artsakh's future alongside Azerbaijanis, and considering the Republic of Artsakh as an Armenian community of Azerbaijan is solely the stance of the Pashinyan regime and has no connection to the will and desire of the Armenian people. Groups wanting to create a breakthrough on the Artsakh issue, either in Artsakh or Armenia, simply do not have the opportunity to oppose it on a geopolitical agenda," he mentioned.
