The Issue of Ukraine's NATO Membership Has Been Resolved and Is Not Subject to Discussion, Says Sullivan
“According to the results of the NATO summit in Vilnius, the question of Ukraine's membership in the alliance has been resolved and is not up for discussion,” declared Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor.
“In any case, we made it very clear in NATO that Ukraine's future is in NATO. That is non-negotiable. This is what we have agreed upon,” he stated in an interview with CBS.
Sullivan added that Ukraine will continue to receive necessary support from its Western allies. The White House also announced that training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets in EU countries could begin in a few weeks.
