Yerevan's Urartu to Face Bosnia's Zrinjski in Champions League First Round
Armenia's champion Urartu will compete against the Bosnian club Zrinjski in the first round of the UEFA Champions League. This was announced by the press service of the Yerevan club.
The first match between the two teams will take place on July 11 or 12, with the return leg scheduled for July 18 or 19. The draw for the first qualifying round of the Champions League 2023/24 season was held on June 20 in Nyon, Switzerland.
The Football Federation of Armenia also reported that the draw for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League was conducted today. FC Pyunik will face Estonian club Narva, Ararat-Armenia will play against Albanian club Egnatia, and Alashkert will attempt to overcome the challenge from Montenegrin club Arsenal Tivat. The first matches of these teams will be held in Yerevan on July 13, with the return matches on July 20.
