Anahit Avanesyan Discusses Relationship with Arsen Torosyan

The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, evaluates her relationship with Arsen Torosyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'Civil Contract' faction, as very good and collegial. She made this statement during a conversation with journalists after a Government session, responding to a question about her relationship with the former Minister of Health, who has been regularly critical of both the minister and the healthcare sector's performance.

"I have a very positive attitude towards all kinds of criticism, including that from Arsen Torosyan, why not," she said.

The minister also addressed the question of whether she would participate in the questioning related to the misuse of funds associated with the coronavirus disease, similar to Torosyan. She stated: "An interrogation is not an interview that I can decide whether to attend or not. When they see the necessity that I should also participate in the investigation, I will approach it. I have largely been transparent about how we handled expenditures during the COVID period and other matters."
