“The Issue of Construction Waste Being Disposed in Korea Gorge Is Under Our Attention”: Levon Hovhannisyan

The First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Levon Hovhannisyan, addressed the issue of construction waste disposal in Korea Gorge during a conversation with reporters. According to him, this issue is a focus of their attention.

“The head of Arabkir regularly visits the area, they study the terrain, and unfortunately, new violators of regulations are periodically discovered who, despite our numerous reminders and fines, still decide to dump construction waste. We identify, fine, and conduct preventive work with them again. Perhaps there is a need for tightening or increasing penalties,” noted the deputy mayor.
