Call to Measure Damages and Provide Compensation: Garnik Danielyan

Garnik Danielyan, a member of the Armenia faction in the National Assembly, wrote on his Facebook page:

“On the evening of June 4, hail fell in the Armavir province, causing significant damage to the agricultural lands and orchards of the communities of Yeghenut, Zartonk, Argavand, and Artashar in the enlarged community of Metsamor. Farmers blocked the Armavir-Zartonk highway, demanding an assessment of the damages and compensation from the relevant authorities. The citizens who contacted me reported that they were cultivating potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, melons, and other vegetable crops in those areas. Now, having suffered serious losses, they find themselves in a hopeless situation.

As for the anti-hail stations, it turns out they were deployed after the hailstorm. I urge the relevant authorities to assess and measure the damages and provide compensation as soon as possible.”
