Pashinyan Interrogated as a Witness in Criminal Case of State Betrayal
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been interrogated as a witness within the framework of a criminal case characterized by elements of state betrayal. This was announced today, June 2, by the head of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, during a session of the National Assembly.
“The Prime Minister has been questioned as a witness,” Kyaramyan noted in response to a question from Artsvik Minasyan, the secretary of the ‘Hayastan’ bloc.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had announced on April 18 that he had been interrogated in connection with this case but did not specify in what capacity.
“I have been interrogated; I have been questioned in great detail. I will be questioned as much as necessary,” Pashinyan said.
