Russia's Interior Ministry Issues Wanted Notice for U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham
The name of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, a member of the Republican Party, has appeared in the database of the Russian Interior Ministry's wanted list, TASS reported.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, had instructed that a criminal case be opened regarding statements made by the American politician about the killing of Russians.
On May 26, the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky released a short video of a meeting with the American senator. In it, Lindsey Graham stated, "Russians are dying" and "We have never spent this much money so successfully."
In the video, they walk behind each other, but the filming angles change, as reported by Kommersant. In the full version of the recording, which was reviewed by Reuters, the phrases "Russians are dying" and "We have never spent this much money so successfully" are mentioned in different contexts.
