Possible War Between Russia and NATO, Says Chief of Czech Armed Forces
The possibility of a war between Russia and the North Atlantic Alliance, which is the worst-case scenario, is not impossible, stated Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, Karel Rzhehkan, as reported by Czech news outlet novinky.cz.
According to him, the army is trying to prepare for a potential high-intensity conflict with a technologically advanced adversary, namely Russia, "since today Russia is on a trajectory of conflict with the alliance." He emphasized that the Czech army will need support from other departments. The Chief of Staff noted that the development concept of all agencies and all security structures should take the possibility of war into account.
