Iranian Expert: They Demand a 'Cadastre Certificate' to Register from Armenia Written in Ancient Persian Cuneiform

If you remove the Arabic-origin word vətən "homeland" from Azerbaijani, the only remaining equivalent in the same sense is the Turkic word yurd. This was noted by Iranian expert Vardan Voskanyan on his Facebook page.

“Can you imagine the absurdity when some barbaric regime of ‘yurd’ demands a ‘cadastre certificate’ for something that was registered in ancient Persian cuneiform on the Behistun rock in the 6th century BC from Armenia?” wrote the expert.

It should be reminded that during the question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly yesterday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the 1991 Alma-Ata declaration is the “cadastre certificate” of the Republic of Armenia, and renouncing it is equivalent to renouncing our “cadastre certificate.”
