Scholz: Better for Joe Biden to be President of the US than Donald Trump

The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, has stated that it is better to see Joe Biden as President of the United States than his predecessor Donald Trump, as reported by Reuters.

Scholz expressed hope that Biden would be re-elected for a second term. The statement was made during a meeting with students at a school near Berlin. Scholz accused Trump of "sowing discord" and said that Trump’s presidency would be detrimental not only to the United States but also to Germany.

“I believe the current president is the best, which is why I want him to be re-elected,” Scholz responded to a student’s question. He added that Biden clearly knows what needs to be done to prevent a global war.
