Victory in Greek Parliamentary Elections Goes to New Democracy

The party "New Democracy" led by incumbent Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has emerged victorious in the parliamentary elections in Greece. According to official data, after processing 97% of the ballots, the party received 41% of the votes, translating to 146 mandates in parliament. This was reported by Euronews.

The opposition party, led by former Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, came in second, garnering 20% of the votes, which gives it 71 mandates. Meanwhile, third place was taken by the socialists led by Nikos Androulakis, who collected 12% of the votes, resulting in 41 mandates in parliament.
