Azerbaijan Opens Fire on Civilian Workers in Garden: Artsakh Defense Army

On May 18, Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire along the northern, eastern, and central directions of the contact line by using small arms and the HAN-17 grenade launcher.

The Artsakh Defense Army reports that in the vicinity of Berdashen village, Azerbaijani forces opened fire on civilian workers in a garden and fired the HAN-17 grenade launcher towards the Kashen mine.

No losses have been reported on the Armenian side. It has been noted that the violation of the ceasefire has been reported to the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces.

As of 10:00 AM on May 19, the situation along the contact line is relatively stable.
