Kyiv's American and European Sponsors Are Leading Us Toward a Third World War: Medvedev

Kyiv's American and European sponsors are significantly enriching it with all kinds of deadly weapons and encouraging terrorism; in fact, they are driving the situation toward a third world war, where there can be no winners, said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.

"It is obvious that a large-scale hybrid war has been unleashed against our country. Their American and European sponsors are strictly feeding our enemies with various types of lethal weapons, encouraging terrorism in Russia's border regions, and indeed carrying out diversions and political assassinations. They are leading us toward a third world war, toward a global disaster, where, as you know, by definition there can be no winners," Medvedev stated at the XI International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg.

He noted that today the Russian Federation is conducting a special military operation to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the safety of millions of citizens.
