No Private Communications Regarding Drones in Moscow, Says White House
The spokesperson for the U.S. National Security Council, John Kirby, is unaware of any private connections between the United States and Russia concerning the recent incident involving a Moscow drone.
“I’m not aware of any private conversations between our authorities and the Russians regarding the alleged drone attack,” Kirby stated during a press briefing.
He reiterated Washington’s position that the U.S. had no involvement in this incident. Kirby clarified that he “doesn’t know if any connections are necessary to convey that position privately.” At the same time, he added that the U.S. will try to learn more about this incident.
