On May 1, a meeting took place in Washington, D.C. between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. This was reported by the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
The discussions focused on the security situation in the region and the processes for normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Issues related to the humanitarian situation arising from Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor were also addressed.
