Tourist Bus Falls into Canyon in Mexico, Casualties Reported
Eighteen people have died after a tourist bus fell into a canyon in Mexico, as reported by РИА Новости, citing the Nayarit prosecutor's office. According to the agency, another 33 individuals sustained injuries in the incident.
The accident occurred on the evening of April 29 on a highway connecting the capital of Tepic with the city of Puerto Vallarta. It is noted that the bus was en route from Guadalajara to the municipality of Compostela, specifically to the town of Rincón de Guayabitos.
“Experts at the scene discovered the bodies of 18 deceased individuals, including 7 men and 11 women,” the prosecutor's office stated.
